Ted's Bicycles opened its doors for business in September 1971. The shop was started by Ted and Ruth Wilber of Colorado Springs. The shop grew and expanded more than Ted & Ruth ever dreamed. In 1976, Tony Hoewisch moved from Wisconsin and joined the team.  In 1986 Tony and his Wife Joetta bought Ted's Bicycles.

 Ted's still operates with the same philosophy that Ted and Ruth had since it began in 1971, (friendly family atmosphere with dependable service) . We are the oldest independently owned Bike Shop in Colorado Springs.
